For Hotel Petram Resort & Villas, a luxurious 5-star complex with 55 villas and 3 residential buildings, there was a need to provide an efficient system for heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic hot water preparation, including heated pools, a SPA center, and kitchen facilities. The solution had to meet the highest standards of comfort, reliability, and energy efficiency.
THE CHALLENGE
1. Complex heating and cooling system
The hotel, villas, and residences required simultaneous heating and cooling with continuous domestic hot water preparation.
2. Integration of different systems
In addition to rooms and apartments, the solution had to cover the SPA center, pools, kitchens, and common areas.
3. Consumption control and optimization
Independent measurement and monitoring of consumption in each room had to be ensured.
OUR SOLUTION
Energy Net implemented four-pipe air-to-water heat pumps that provide simultaneous heating and cooling, along with domestic hot water preparation for all hotel facilities, including the indoor and outdoor SPA center.
• Heating and cooling were delivered via FCU units, while ventilation was managed through air handling units with variable air volume control per room.
• Thanks to the BMS system, rooms and apartments feature independent energy consumption control, ensuring maximum comfort for guests and transparent cost monitoring for hotel management.
• For the villas and residential buildings, hybrid heat pumps were applied for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water preparation, all integrated under the same BMS system for centralized monitoring and control.
