Difference between inverter and on/off air conditioners

How to choose the right air conditioner? Inverter or standard (on/off)? The difference is significant, especially in terms of quality and costs. The initial price of an inverter is higher, but it quickly pays off through savings on electricity bills—around 40% less. Inverter ACs reach the desired temperature faster, maintain a constant temperature, significantly save energy, and can be used for heating, even at temperatures as low as an incredible -30°C! Inverter AC units work for both cooling and heating, whereas standard ones are primarily for cooling and possibly light heating during transitional seasons down to -7°C.
It's important to note that not all inverters are the same. I recommend Gree inverter air conditioners, which operate using Gree's special G10 technology. This means they meet 10 key standards that guarantee quality and long life.
Key Features of Gree G10 Technology:
Quiet operation,
Eco-friendly refrigerant,
High control precision,
Automatic voltage adjustment,
High reliability,
Low-frequency operation,
High-speed processor,
Power factor correction,
Control through computer simulation,
UFH Flux control.

Proper installation of air conditioners

If you are renovating or equipping an apartment or house, it's essential to pay attention to cooling and heating, specifically energy savings. The placement of the air conditioner on the wall is very important! The indoor unit should be installed 15 cm from the ceiling and should have at least 25 cm of free space on both the left and right sides. It is recommended that the distance from the floor to the indoor unit be around 2.5 meters.
The outdoor unit should be installed at least 30 cm away from the wall it is mounted on, with a minimum of half a meter of free space on the sides.
Neither the indoor nor outdoor unit should be enclosed, blocked, or covered to ensure uninterrupted airflow, as proper air circulation is essential for the efficient operation of the air conditioner.

How to properly use an air conditioner

A good air conditioner should heat, cool, protect, and save. It should provide a comfortable temperature in the space where you live and protect your health. The ideal indoor temperature should be between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Adjust the air deflectors so that the cold air blows out horizontally, as it naturally falls to the floor and cools the entire room. The best air conditioners have both horizontal and vertical air deflectors.
Before turning on the air conditioner, ventilate the room and then close the windows to reduce electricity costs. Set the air conditioner so that it doesn't blow directly at you!

Energy saving tips with inverter air conditioners

A common question I get is: "Should I use the air conditioner at night, and does that increase electricity consumption?" If you're using a Gree inverter air conditioner, the advice is to keep it on continuously for 24 hours because this saves the most energy.
Most energy is consumed when heating or cooling an unconditioned space, while significantly less energy is used to maintain the desired temperature.
The best Gree inverter air conditioners have 7 fan speeds, are completely silent, and feature a temperature equalization sensor that ensures a comfortable temperature throughout the room.
All you need to do is set the desired temperature, and the air conditioner does the rest.
It's important to note that these types of air conditioners are most energy-efficient when they run 24 hours! They save both energy and money.

Cleaning and maintenance of air conditioners

To ensure that your air conditioner protects and safeguards your health, it is essential to clean and service it regularly. The moist and cool environment inside the air conditioner is ideal for the growth of fungi, viruses, and other microorganisms, with the most dangerous to human health being the Coxsackievirus and Legionnaires' disease. Without proper maintenance, your air conditioner can become a serious health risk.
You can regularly clean the filters yourself. In addition to washing the filters, an annual service is required, during which the entire system—both the indoor and outdoor units—is thoroughly disinfected and cleaned. Only by doing this can the filters perform their full function and protect your health.
