These were exactly the challenges faced by the private hospital NEW Hospital, Paroco in Novi Sad, which entrusted Energy Net with the design and implementation of a complete HVAC system.

CLIENT CHALLENGE:


The private hospital NEW Hospital in Novi Sad had specific and demanding requirements:

• Ensure a stable heating, cooling, and ventilation system for patient rooms and clinics,
• Provide sterile operating conditions in operating theaters, including overpressure control and top-level air filtration,
• Enable zonal regulation and automated control across all rooms,
• At the same time ensure energy efficiency and simple system management for medical staff.

OUR SOLUTION:

Energy Net implemented a combined HVAC solution with Swegon equipment, tailored to the specific requirements of each zone:

• Patient rooms and clinics:
Cassette induction units Parasol Zenith and Paragon with variable air supply (two-pipe system) were installed, combining three functions in one device: cooling, ventilation, and heating.
Heating was additionally supported by the existing underfloor system, with complete zonal regulation and control via Swegon automatic regulation and controllers. Fresh air is supplied through a Swegon Gold RX air handling unit.
• Operating theaters:
Filter ceilings with H14 panel filters were provided, ensuring sterile conditions and maximum safety. The system includes overpressure control and zonal regulation of each operating room, also via Swegon controllers. Fresh air is supplied through a Swegon Gold PX air handling unit.

RESULT:
After commissioning and staff training for the use of the Swegon system for automatic parameterization and monitoring, the maximum efficiency of the entire system was confirmed. The hospital gained:

• Reliable sterile conditions in operating theaters,
• Stable temperature and air quality in all rooms and clinics,
• An energy-efficient solution with minimal costs,
• Simple and intuitive operation adapted to the needs of medical staff.
